Meet Me

Hi, I'm Zach Bradshaw, an aspiring digital and broadcast journalist, and masters student at Arizona State University.

In today's modern news market, it is crucial to make news relatable and easy to understand. For me, I strive to be a personable journalist and an impactful communicator.

I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona, and spent my childhood biking, watching movies and skiing. I'm a patient and candid person, which helps me communicate with sources and colleagues in order to benefit both of us. I work to be an honest, likable journalist.

When I was in high school, I found a passion for writing, a passion that would become a lifestyle when I committed to college at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

Now, nearly four years later, I'm working toward earning a master's degree with an emphasis on investigative journalism.

My goal is to be a multimedia journalist. In today's shifting news landscape, I believe it's crucial for journalists to be proficient in writing, broadcasting, social media, graphic design and producing. Being multi-faceted and versatile is a crucial element of delivering powerful, accessible news, and it's a skillset I take particular pride in.

In my years as a journalist, I have worked to be a multi-talented journalist. I've worked with multiple newsrooms, including PBS NewsHour. For over 2 years, I worked as a reporter, digital producer and social media coordinator at The Arizona Republic (a branch of USA today).

I've also written for the Arizona Daily Sun and been a broadcast journalist for Cronkite News.

For two years, I was the news director at the number one college radio station in the country, Blaze Radio, and for a year and a half I proudly served as the president of ASU's chapter of NLGJA, the Association of LGBTQ Journalists.

I invite you to explore my work through this website. These are my most recent pieces of journalism, which I have worked to leave a positive impact on my community and myself.
